Last night, a Democrat came within 2 percentage points of flipping North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District, a heavily Republican, largely rural district that Trump won by 12 points. 

How did Democrat Dan McCready perform 11 points better in this district than we’d expect him to? He ran on healthcare and kitchen table issues that matter to all voters - Democrats AND Republicans. He put partisan brinkmanship aside and talked about solutions.

This is how we are going to win in Montana. We are going to talk about issues that matter to everyone. Our campaign is going to talk solutions, because Montanans are sick and tired of empty promises and backroom deals that benefit the wealthy and well connected, while leaving the rest of us behind. 

But we can’t do that if we don’t have the resources to get our message out to every corner of Montana.
