We're at an inflection point in our nation's history - and what we choose to do in this moment will define us. We can let the Republican Party continue to sow division and attack the very character of our democracy. Or, we can turn the page and usher in a new era of leadership, rooted in morality, unity and service.

That's why I'm writing to you today about Reverend Raphael Warnock, a civil rights champion who's running for Senate to flip Georgia blue and restore moral leadership to Washington. As the senior pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church, the spiritual home of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Reverend Warnock believes his impact doesn't stop at the church door - it's where it begins. He's poised to make history as Georgia's first-ever Black senator, but he needs our help to win.

With The Washington Post reporting that a win in Georgia is key to taking back the Senate for Democrats, Mitch McConnell and Washington Republicans are pulling out all the stops to keep this battleground state red. So today, I'm humbly asking for your help in fighting back: Will you give $5 or more now to help Reverend Warnock raise $25,000 by midnight to flip Georgia blue and take back the Senate for Democrats?

When I ran for president, I was struck by the common thread in the concerns of voters everywhere. From Atlanta, Georgia, to Des Moines, Iowa, the Americans I talked to across the country were hungry for change - more importantly, hungry for a kind of moral integrity that's lacking in our government right now.

It's time to throw away the same old playbook with the same old thinking and elect a strong Democratic leader like Reverend Warnock who's committed to a bold vision for the next generation. He's a lifelong advocate for voting rights, affordable health care and the dignity of working people - and he's ready to bring these critical fights for justice to the Senate.

Here's the thing, friend: Right now, Reverend Warnock and his extremist GOP opponent are running neck and neck - and if we don't help him pull ahead now, we will miss the chance to win this race and lose our chance to take back the Senate majority from Mitch McConnell.

The campaign's next fundraising deadline is quickly approaching, and right now, they're falling short of their goal. So please, will you make a contribution of $5 or more now to win in Georgia, take back the Senate for Democrats and finally restore moral leadership to Washington?
