It's been nearly three months since the FBI arrested former Ohio
Speaker Larry Householder and his associates for their alleged
involvement in a $60 million bribery scheme.?The
product of this corruption, HB 6, remains in place despite widespread
support for its repeal.
The Ohio House Select Committee on Energy Policy and Oversight
continues to drag its feet on HB 6 repeal efforts. In fact, Committee
Chairman Hoops recently announced that the Committee will not meet to
consider a repeal of HB 6 until further notice.
It's time that our legislators hear what we have to
say about HB 6.
Ohioans shouldn't be shut out of committee hearings. We deserve to
be heard.?That's why we and our allies are
putting together a series of virtual public hearings for the community
to tell our legislators why we need HB 6 repealed.
We will host virtual public hearings on:?
Wednesday, October 21 from 12 to 1:30 PM?
Tuesday, October 27 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM
Thursday, October 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM
Testimonies will be kept brief, at two
