Hey John,

This weekend, we’re making 500,000 calls to key voters in the Super States. Hitting this goal translates to hundreds of thousands of Democrats casting ballots in critical states that could swing November’s elections.

But sometimes the numbers don’t do justice to the importance of this work. Erica Goldman, a Swing Left regional organizer, shared a quick story about her call with a voter in Arizona that puts this work into perspective:

He told me he didn’t vote in 2016. He wasn’t even sure if he was still registered. I gave him the website with voting info for his county.

While I was on the phone, he confirmed his voter registration AND requested a mail-in ballot online. At the end of the call, he told me he was definitely going to vote this year.

Then he told me: "Thank you, you made me a voter".

That’s the difference we’re making, every single day. So John, can you help folks become voters by making 20 calls by the end of the week? We’re holding phone banks every day to reach people who need our help getting important voting information and casting their ballots.

Start making calls
