First, thank you so much for coming through for me before our last big FEC deadline of this campaign. With your support, we just surpassed our mid-month goal, and I’m proud of the fundraising numbers we put up!

Now, we find ourselves just 18 days away from Election Day, with most folks in the 3rd district set to receive their ballots by the end of this weekend. You want to know how long it’s been since my Republican opponent, Jaime Herrera Beutler, has held a public town hall to hear from her constituents? 1,367 days and counting…

Meanwhile, I’ve been having a blast holding more than 80 public events throughout this campaign, including our drive-in town halls. We just had two of them in Clark County this week, and like I told the crowds who safely showed up in their cars, “My faith in democracy is renewed every time I do this.”

Imagine what it would be like if you had a representative who was always out here talking to you about the issues facing you and your family. How we’re going to recover from this pandemic, how we can make health care more affordable for everyone, how we can expand broadband access in our communities, and so much more.

Jaime Herrera Beutler won’t show up and listen to our community, so I will.

I’m ready to take what I’ve heard and learned from folks across Southwest Washington and fight for your needs in Washington, D.C. But we’re running out of time to close the gap in this ultra-competitive race before Election Day arrives, and national Republicans are currently pouring $1.3 million into negative attack ads against me.
