lowering drug costs, protecting new cures

Health care is far too expensive in the United States, and American innovation in the health care space is absolutely critical for ensuring that medicine continues to advance.

Nancy Pelosi has been pushing H.R. 3 - a radical price control bill that will reduce your access to 100 new drugs according to the Council of Economic Advisers. We don't know what drugs will be lost - it could be the cure to Alzheimer's or a cure for cancer. But what we do know is that one lost cure is one too many.

That is why I have introduced legislation to hold big pharma companies accountable and stop them from engaging in the uncompetitive, unfair behavior that leads to high drug costs. Critically, my plan lowers your drug costs without limiting your access to the drugs you need.

The far left has hijacked the climate debate with crazed plans like the Green New Deal and now they want to ban fracking. This will not only kill hundreds of thousands of energy jobs in Texas alone, but it will also increase emissions by forcing us to rely on dirty energy from Russia and China.

We have better, fact-based ideas, like my New Energy Frontier, to reduce emissions without destroying the economy. By boosting American innovation, we can combat climate change, grow jobs, and continue powering America's economic productivity.

Most Americans are catching on to the fact that COVID relief is being blocked for one reason and one reason only: Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

There are targeted, commonsense proposals that we could bring to the House floor right now - relief for small businesses, schools, and health care workers - that would receive bipartisan support and be signed into law.

But Nancy Pelosi is playing politics while American families continue to struggle. It is unacceptable.
