A thing we sometimes fail to consider about the villains who attack and divide us is that they rarely do it alone. Usually, they’ve got henchmen or cronies helping their plots along. And in 2020, there is no bigger villain and crony duo than Donald Trump and Matt Gaetz.

Donald Trump will destroy our country's future if given the opportunity. After watching him scoff at the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans, after years of climate change denial, and countless attacks on our democratic institutions – there can be no denying his villainy.

If I've learned one thing from all the stories I've been a part of telling, it's that we can’t just defeat Trump -- we need to root out all the sycophants and bullies that have stood by his disturbing behavior and empowered his actions.
