John, I have to be brutally honest --

We're 16 days into October and we have yet to reach a single online daily fundraising goal.

This is not what we expected. We need to make our final media buys and fund our voter outreach program, but we're currently in the red and just don't have the resources to make the investments we need to win.

I'm not exaggerating. These are real goals our team has set to win one of the most hotly-contested races this year. Right now, we're $8,620 behind for today.
