The FINAL Push
URGENT Action Needed!

October 16^th, 2020

Dear Friends and Supporters

This is a very important special action edition e-Bulletin.

With the European Council Summit of October 15^th now over, the deadline Prime Minister Boris Johnson set for walking away from the trade negotiations with the EU has now also passed.

Whilst the Prime Minister, has today (October 16^th), made a statement saying he is willing to accept concluding discussions and trading with the EU on World Trade Organisation terms on January 1^st 2021, he has so far failed to walk away from talks entirely. The EU has so little respect for the words of the Prime Minister, the President of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen has already confirmed discussions will be continuing next week, with EU teams scheduled to arrive in London!

If the PM is serious about his belief No Deal is now the only valid option, any talks next week should not go ahead, or they should be ended as soon as they begin unless the EU comes to the table with a radically different negotiating position than their uncompromising comments so far.

With the next 2 weeks likely to be the most critical of the last 4 years, it is vital we keep pressure on Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the Government to not only stick to their promises, but to also be clear with the public about what is happening. The PM and his team need to stop just speaking to the ‘Westminster Bubble’ and be honest with the grassroots in the rest of the country. This means explaining the realities to everyone, instead of hiding behind buzzwords and platitudes like ‘Australia-style’ and ‘Canada-style’ deals. Surely all of the confusion over the COVID-19 restrictions has taught this Government little since they have been caught in the headlights. Boris needs to be straight with the Great British Public and not jump from issue to issue without being more transparent.

All of This Is Why We Need YOUR Support for Our Letter to The Prime Minister
