Online voter registration closes tonight at 11:59 PM CT. Even if you are one million percent sure that you’re registered or have already voted, please humor me for 30 seconds so I can sleep at night.

Visit www.votercheck.necvr.ne.gov/voterview, type in your name, and confirm that your information is up-to-date. 

If you are not registered to vote, visit www.nebraska.gov/apps-sos-voter-registration. Get it done right now while it’s in your head.

If you are registered, now is the time to make a plan to vote.

• If you plan to vote by mail, request your ballot by 6 PM on October 23. You need to physically print the form, so please don’t wait until the last minute to find a printer.
• If you plan to vote in person on Election Day, the Votercheck link above will show you your polling place. If you plan to vote early in person, find your county election office. 

If you have already voted, track the status of your ballot on the Votercheck portal. We all deserve to know if our votes have been counted.
