Health care should be a right, not a privilege.

It's a simple idea that has always guided Hakeem's fight to ensure folks across the country have access to affordable health care.

That’s why Hakeem introduced bipartisan legislation expediting the creation of affordable prescription medication earlier this year, and is proud to co-sponsor a series of bills, including Medicare for All, to tackle this crisis head-on.
