The sham hearings that ended yesterday in Lindsey Graham's Senate Judiciary Committee have been a textbook case of Republicans running with an opportunity from Trump to seize even more power. Their eagerness in rushing through a nominee who would cut health care for millions of Americans -- while a pandemic still rages -- is disgusting.

But in 19 days, we can unseat four of the Republican senators who are currently scrambling to confirm Trump's illegitimate and unqualified Supreme Court nominee: Senators John Cornyn (TX), Lindsey Graham (SC), Thom Tillis (NC), and Joni Ernst (IA).

This isn't just about the nomination underway right now. This is about the next 50 or 60 years of the judicial branch.

They're even going back on their own words: Lindsey Graham, the Judiciary Committee chairman, said himself in 2016 that a Supreme Court process like this should never happen. The hypocrisy is off the charts.

But here's the truth: The election is happening right now. Votes are being cast that will decide which party is in charge of confirming judges who will serve for decades – some even for life.
