In ten days, we strike for the climate.

While the Brexit drama dominates the headlines, it’s essential we don’t take our attention off the climate emergency.

Are you ready to join us on the streets?

For months, the school strikers around the world have shown real leadership where our elected leaders have failed.

On Friday September 20th, young people have called for a General Strike. We have the opportunity to make this a historic mobilisation for the climate, and we need as many of you out with us as possible.

Here’s what to do:

• Find a strike near you. If you and your local party have made a Facebook event (or equivalent) for Greens to meet up locally, send it to us and we’ll add it to our page.
• Book time off work, or organise your workplace to negotiate with management about joining the strike. Even if you can only pop out on your lunch break - solidarity matters.
• Stock up on placards for the big day, and flyers to mobilise people locally.
• Get the incredible Climate Strike t-shirt, with 50% of all profits going to help young climate activists take action with People & Planet.

The excitement for this moment is building, along with the growing urgency for action. I hope you’ll join other Greens out on the streets, if you can. 

Standing with school children, students and workers, we’ll build a mass movement for real climate action.
