Kia ora John,

In a little under 24 hours, polls will close in this year’s election. It’s fair to say this campaign has been an unusual one, but all the support and kindness that you’ve shown me and the team during this time has also made it a really special one. With this in mind, I recorded one final message for our supporters. You can watch it here <[link removed]>:

WATCH NOW <[link removed]>Of course, no matter the outcome, election campaigns are always a team effort. So, once again I’d like to take this chance to say a huge thank you to everyone who has played a role this year, from the thousands of generous donors who have chipped in online, to the hardworking volunteers who have put in the hours on the phones and doors. This campaign would not have been possible without your contributions, and I couldn’t be more proud of what our Labour family has achieved together.

I’d also like to share a last minute - but very important - reminder to get out and vote tomorrow. Saturday is your absolute last chance to give your two ticks to Labour - please don’t miss out on your opportunity to make your voice heard! Voting booths are open from 9am until 7pm, right around New Zealand. If you’re unsure where you need to go, check out our map tool to find your nearest voting place here <[link removed]>.

I’ll be back in touch soon with a post-election update. Until then, thanks again for being part of the Labour team. Your support has meant everything, especially on the toughest days out on the campaign trail! No matter what tomorrow brings, I want you to know that I am incredibly grateful to each and every one of you for everything you’ve helped us achieve.

Let’s stick together and let’s keep moving!

Jacinda

P.S. A quick reminder to all our dedicated volunteers and supporters that no campaigning is allowed on Election Day. That means all hoardings and campaign advertising needs to be taken down today, to comply with electoral law. You also shouldn’t post anything political online!

A short note on donations:

We have a plan to keep New Zealand moving, and it’s already underway. But to keep rolling out that plan beyond this month's election, Labour needs to win enough seats to be able to return to government.

John, we’re proud to be a truly people-powered Party, and it’s only because of the generosity of thousands of supporters like you chipping in what you can that we’re going to be able to run a winning campaign.

If you can, please click the button below to make a donation to our campaign fund today so together, we can keep New Zealand moving.
