CJAF Policymakers for Peace & Texas House Representative Cesar Blanco presents Gun Violence Town hall

 

Join us on Wednesday, October 21st at 6:30pm MDT for a virtual town hall about police violence and gun violence affecting the Black and Brown communities in El Paso. Local officials and community violence prevention experts will provide their perspectives on the challenges as well as solutions they've implemented and/or would like to implement. National violence prevention experts will offer perspectives on solutions

that have worked in other places around the country. The audience will have an opportunity to engage in a question & answer session with the presenters.

 

Policymakers for Peace is a network of Black and Brown policymakers fighting year round to end gun violence.

CJAF October Policy and Organizing Call

 

Join us Tuesday, October 20th at 7:00pm ET for our next monthly call. The conversation will be centered around the upcoming November election, and will underscore the importance of Black and Brown communities turning out the vote. You’ll hear from several partner organizations and learn ways to stay engaged post the election.
