John, I just wrapped up our third and final debate against Senator Ernst. I hope I made you proud.

I gotta say going into this last debate, I was fired up to share my plans to fight for hardworking people in the Senate. Now that it's over, I'm more determined than ever to keep up this fight during the final weeks of our campaign.

At tonight's debate, my opponent once again spread lies about her record of voting with Mitch McConnell 97% of the time in the Senate. That doesn't sound like the person who said she'd go to Washington to "make 'em squeal" to me. Tthe truth is Senator Ernst can't defend her record of voting to gut protections for folks with pre-existing conditions, or threatening our hard-earned Social Security benefits. So instead, she lies. My opponent is fighting for McConnell's agenda and her big corporate donors -- not people who elected her.

Look, control of the Senate hinges on Iowa and this team has what it takes to win, if we keep fighting like heck in these last few weeks. McConnell and his allies know it, too -- they're spending more than $75 MILLION in ads attacking us.
