19 days to go, and things are looking really good for Democrats. Democrats are now the "clear favorite" to take control of the US Senate on November 3, per the respected Cook Political Report.

But that's only going to happen if we have an overwhelming victory at the polls, so that even when the Republicans cheat it won't be enough to take away our lead.

Here's a rundown of those 14 key races:

First up, here are the two US Senate seats that Democrats have the best chance of taking away from Republicans:

• John Hickenlooper (D) vs. Cory Gardner in Colorado - leans Dem*
• Mark Kelly (D) vs. Martha McSally in Arizona - leans Dem

Next up, three additional Republican seats that Democrats have a real chance of taking on election day:

• Sara Gideon (D) vs. Susan Collins in Maine - toss up
• Cal Cunningham (D) vs. Thom Tillis in North Carolina - toss up
• Theresa Greenfield (D) vs. Joni Ernst in Iowa - toss up

Here's another US Senate seat that Democrats currently have, and in which a Republican challenger is gaining ground - we have to hold this seat in order to win control of the Senate:

• Gary Peters (D) vs. John James in Michigan - leans Dem

If Democrats lose two of the races above, we would need to win at least one seat among the races below. These races are also close and winnable:

• Jon Ossoff (D) vs. David Perdue in Georgia - toss up
• Jaime Harrison (D) vs. Lindsey Graham in South Carolina - toss up
• Steve Bullock (D) vs. Steve Daines in Montana - toss up
• Raphael Warnock (D) vs. Kelly Loeffler in Georgia - toss up
• Al Gross (I) vs. Dan Sullivan in Alaska - leans GOP (Gross is endorsed by the state Democratic party)
• M.J. Hegar (D) vs. John Cornyn in Texas - leans GOP
• Barbara Bollier (D) vs. Roger Marshall (D) in Kansas - leans GOP(this is actually an open seat)
• Mike Espy (D) vs. Cindy Hyde-Smith in Mississippi.

Now, one final point about polls. I know we all are still having nightmares about 2016, and we should. That election was stolen. So, no one will count our chickens until they hatch this time around. Having said that, Democrats are in a great position to take the White House, the Senate, and expand our lead in the House. And it's important that people know that we can win this time, if we give it all we've got.
