It’s hard to believe that we have only 19 days until the election. Voters across the country have already turned out in force: waiting in lines, handing in their ballots, and doing everything they can to ensure their voices are heard.

Here in PA-07, I cast my ballot yesterday at the Lehigh County Government Center, and witnessed dozens of others doing the same. But, I am worried about the many reports I'm hearing of people who have yet to receive their ballots in the mail, and just as worrisome, the reports I am receiving that a number of ballots have been returned without the secrecy envelope that is required under PA law.

We are working hard to sort out the issues with voters who haven't yet received a ballot, and we are also spending resources educating local voters about the proper process to follow when casting a ballot, whether by mail, drop off, or in person. We are seeing that voters are highly engaged, and anxious to get it right.

This is the most critical time in the election cycle: people are listening, researching, and voting. Our campaign is doing all we can to reach all potential voters in the district.

We rely on grassroots donations like yours that allow us to engage with voters through virtual events, phone banks, yard signs, and online and TV ads. This is absolutely crucial to fight back against the ongoing attacks against me and my campaign from my Republican opponent.

Our race is one of the most competitive and closely watched races in the entire country. I am a first-term member of Congress who flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018, helping retake the Democratic majority in the House of Representatives.

Republican outside groups and super PACs have been spending exorbitant amounts of money against me, running attack ads riddled with lies and funneling money to help my opponent. They know that who ends up with the majority in the House -- and even the White House -- could come down to this seat.

I fight everyday to serve the people of Pennsylvania’s 7th district. I have and always will work for the people, not for any corporation, business, or super PAC. Together, we can do something historic and win again in November.
