[{CAMPAIGNPAGE_URL~58728~[link removed]}]
Whipping a horse causes pain and distress, and researchers have even proved that it doesn't make horses run faster. This is animal abuse.

[{EXTERNAL_URL~[link removed]}]
The TJX-owned Canadian department store chain Winners has just banned fur,
scoring a major win for animals in the fur industry. Now, keep the pressure on
TJX to take the next compassionate step by banning angora, which comes from
rabbits who are restrained and whose fur is ripped out of their sensitive skin
while they scream in pain.

[{EXTERNAL_URL~[link removed]}]
"Doc" Antle, an infamous exploiter of big cats, has been charged with a felony
count of wildlife trafficking, another felony count of conspiracy to traffic in
wildlife, and more. PETA has been winning victory after victory, from rescuing
75 big cats from shabby roadside zoos to closing them down altogether. These
achievements represent huge progress, but our work to end the exploitation of big cats isn't done yet.

pointless experiments on animals.

Thanks to PETA, Columbia has just joined the ever-growing list of companies that

on our bad list for continuing to sell it. Here's what Anthropologie doesn't

[{EXTERNAL_URL~[link removed]}]
PETA is clapping back after desperate animal experimenters suggested that
COVID-19 vaccines be tested on monkeys, even though human trials are already
underway. Misleading tests on animals waste valuable time, resources, and lives while delaying the development of treatments and cures for human diseases.

FASCINATING FACT:
Barn owlets (baby barn owls) are nonviolent, altruistic, family-oriented
animals. Barn owl siblings get along perhaps better than most human siblings
do—they clean and feed each other, huddle together to stay warm, and decide
among themselves who is the hungriest and should get food from their mom or dad
based on which one emits the neediest call.
