President Trump is calling on his supporters to join "Trump's army" and intimidate voters by going to precincts to "poll watch" — and experts fear some will even show up with firearms in open-carry states.
This is voter suppression plain and simple: Donald Trump is asking supporters to participate in brazen voter intimidation tactics during the most important election of our lifetimes.
No polling precinct should ever have armed poll-watchers in the United States. But after Trump advocated for violence against protesters, refused to condemn white supremacists, and emboldened armed supporters to try and kidnap Michigan's governor, we need gun-safety activists like you to speak out against these outrageous voter intimidation tactics NOW.
