Cassandra here! As the digital director for A Woman’s Place, my team and I are working nonstop to sharpen our outreach strategy to help women candidates in key races reach the voters they need to win on Election Day.

The good news is that your support thus far has helped us fund many of the record-breaking number of powerful women candidates who are set to make history in November. But the truth is we still have a long way to go if we’re going to help these women cross the finish line.

Aside from the significant financial and systemic barriers women face when running for office, women candidates have struggled to reach voters in this new political campaigning landscape -- and many Americans are still convinced that women can’t win elections, which directly affects how they vote.

We’re working to dispel these dangerous misconceptions, break systemic barriers, and give women candidates in close races the support they need to reach voters during this critical period in the election. But right now, we’re $1,392 short of where we need to be to effectively implement our outreach strategy and provide financial support for women running for office.
