Judge Amy Coney Barrett has been on the proverbial “hot seat” in the US Senate Judiciary Committee for four days. She has been the target of vitriol and even ridiculous statements and questions from liberals on the committee. Through it all, this wife and mother of seven, who is by everyone’s account a brilliant legal mind and jurist, has conducted herself with confidence without arrogance, dignity without defiance, and grace without groveling. We believe Judge Barrett would appreciate receiving some encouragement from thousands of Wisconsin citizens who appreciate who she is and what she believes about the rule of law and the role of the courts.
