DEADLINES ARE TONIGHT AT 11:59 P.M.

THE U.S. CENSUS DEADLINE HAS BEEN MOVED! You only have until 11:59pm TONIGHT, 10/15, to fill out the Census.

The U.S. Census has a massive impact on the health of our communities—it determines how the government will fund essential programs like Medicaid, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Plan (SNAP) and will also determine how we’re represented in Congress. For every person that isn’t counted by the Census, states can lose tens of thousands of dollars in federal funding over the next 10 years.

Advancement Project National Office is asking you to show up for your friends, family, and neighbors. Fill out the census NOW at my2020census.gov.

REMINDER: Virginia voting registration ends tonight! After the Commonwealth’s voting systems crashed on Tuesday, we successfully sued the state to extend its voter registration deadline by 48 hours.

Go to voteva.us to register and check out AP’s Virginia voting guide.

ICYMI: Did you catch our Holding Sheriffs Accountable town hall last night? Our Executive Director, Judith Browne Dianis, joined the Georgia NAACP, New Georgia Project, and some special guests to discuss the impact that sheriffs have on our communities and how Georgia voters can hold them accountable at the ballot box.
