Farm Sanctuary is rolling out a FREE Animals & Art curriculum—designed for both virtual and traditional classroom settings.

We’re pleased to announce a new curriculum for teachers: Animals & Art: The Story Behind a Portrait.

Through the creation of original animal portraits, this free downloadable curriculum teaches participants about the lives of Sanctuary animals—and how to represent them as sentient, emotional beings with individual personalities.

These teacher-led lesson plans, for elementary through high school students, are designed for both virtual and traditional classroom settings and align to National Art and ELA Standards. We’re so happy to add this art-based curriculum to our growing list of Humane Education resources and classes!
