Friend – I just stepped out of the final day of Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation hearings, and I wanted to share a quick update.

After the chance to question Judge Barrett myself – and hear her avoid and dodge giving clear answers to critical issues like health care, reproductive freedom, and gun violence prevention – my concerns about the threats her nomination poses to our country are as grave as ever.

These hearings changed nothing: I will continue to oppose this confirmation at every turn. Today, I tried to stop this sham process from moving forward, but my motion was blocked along party lines. Judge Barrett's nomination threatens our health, our rights, and our democracy – and Mitch McConnell is denying the American people the voice they deserve by ramming this process through the Senate before Election Day.

So ahead of the committee vote, I want to make sure you get the chance to share your thoughts and concerns. Please, click here to tell me what's on your mind right now about the future of the Supreme Court.
