Dear John,

Recently, Democrats introduced a bill to require that a background check is conducted for all gun sales in Wisconsin!

However, some Republican legislators refuse to support this lifesaving legislation, offering up excuses that ranged from nonsensical to absurd. I was going to pick the worst one to share with you, but, honestly, I couldn't decide. So let me ask you, which excuse do you think is the worst? 

According to an August 14, 2019, FOX News Poll, the vast majority of their constituents support universal background checks, making their statements even more inexcusable!
