Hi John — over the next few weeks leading to the election, I'm going to talk more about the folks that I've endorsed for the House and Senate and tell you more about them and why we need them in Washington.
Today, I want to introduce Beth Doglio. Beth is running for Congress in Washington's 10th District because she knows that we can't accept the status quo any longer. She's a community organizer and climate leader, working in the public, private, and non-profit sectors to fight for progressive priorities in her community.
In the Washington State Legislature, Beth helped lead the passage of groundbreaking legislation passing higher wages and improved protections for workers, solidified Washington as a leader in the fight against climate change, and provided more resources to address homelessness.
Beth and I agree that we need to push Congress on issues like affordable housing, Medicare for All, paid family leave, and a Green New Deal. If I'm elected to Congress, I'll need allies like her to help fight for these priorities. But she can't get there without the full support of our grassroots movement.
19 days to go. Let's keep the pressure up and elect progressives all across the nation!
