One in four Americans believes they will never be able to stop working, according to a recent survey. But Fox News doesn’t care.
This week the conservative network gave airtime to a guest who claimed that it’s a “great blessing” that people today don’t have to retire like previous generations!
This kind of thinking is not only wrong -- it’s dangerous. And if we let this go unchallenged, we know that politicians will use this excuse to cut the earned Social Security and Medicare benefits we’ve worked a lifetime for.
The fight for retirement security never ends. Please help us protect our earned benefits and fight the wealthy special interests who benefit from people working forever.
