First, Donald Trump took Dr. Fauci’s words out of context in a campaign ad, making it seem like the leading infectious disease expert had endorsed Trump -- even though nothing could be further from the truth.
Then Dr. Fauci corrected the president, saying, “In my nearly five decades of public service, I have never publicly endorsed any political candidate.”
Now, Trump is tweeting vile attacks like the one below.
