Hi John!

This is Ellie, Chris’s daughter.

For the past eighteen months, I’ve watched my mom work every single day to try to bring change to CA-08 and make our home, this district, and the whole country a better place.

There’s a lot going on right now, and I couldn’t be more proud of my mom for her dedication to serving our community. Our family has been through a lot this year, and I know that so many other families have, too.

But my mom has never once even considered giving up, and I know that she won’t when she’s serving in Congress, either. For my whole life, she has taken care of me and fought for me.

As a little girl, I had childhood epilepsy. I am one of the fortunate ones, as I seem to have outgrown it. However, there were many times when dealing with it was terribly scary for my mom and dad, especially when our insurance company and the medical system made it even more difficult to get me the care that I need.

No one else should have to go through that, which is why my mom is determined to make getting health care an easier and better experience for all families

My mom is one of the most caring and hardworking people I know, and she can’t wait to represent California’s 8th District in Congress. She has come so far in these past eighteen months and just needs a final push getting over the finsh line.
