Dear Friend,

Earlier today we sent out our weekly Family E-Connection with a subject line we regret. We do not believe this upcoming election—or any election or any political office—is ever the most important thing. We know the Gospel of Jesus Christ is always the most important thing—and many other situations in life are also more important than a political election.

In our desire to communicate urgency and importance regarding this election, which is both urgent and important, we worded the subject line poorly. I apologize for that. We meant no offense, to be sure. I personally pledge that we will be more careful and prudent in our headlines and subject lines going forward.

Thank you for standing with us as together we work to make Wisconsin and America a place where truly the most important thing—sharing the Savior Jesus Christ—can flourish for generations to come.
