This November 3, equity, justice, and fairness are on the ballot at the local, state, and national level. That is why we are helping to elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. If you are ready to do your part, please consider joining our upcoming phone banks where we will contact fellow AFT members in Colorado, Nevada, and Arizona about the presidential election and the critical Senate elections taking place in those states.
CFT members who have participated in national phone banks have reported that it has been a great experience, including Tina Solorzano Fletcher from AFT local 1931, who called voters in the swing state of Michigan.
“With so much at stake in this election, I felt I needed to do more than just vote,” says Tina. “Participating in the Educators for Biden phone bank gave me the opportunity to have real conversations with voters in Michigan. It’s only a couple hours of your time but you leave knowing you made a difference.”
