John,
I never envisioned running for office. I'm not doing this to push an agenda or to grab at my chance to be in the limelight.
I ran for Congress because Coastal Virginians needed someone who would fight to break through the noise of partisan division to speak up on behalf of them and their loved ones.
I ran for Congress because I wanted to tell my daughter that I stepped forward when my country needed me.
I'm committed to upholding the oath I swore to defend the Constitution and our democracy, but I can't do it without your help. I'm facing a rematch against former Republican Congressman Scott Taylor who would work in lockstep with President Trump if he makes it back to Washington -- will you be one of the remaining 198 supporters I need to chip in to my campaign's mid-month fundraising push to help us stay strong in this competitive race?

National Republicans have already spent $500,000 on attack ads against me, and they're spending over $3.2 million against me ahead of Election Day.
I need your help to fight back.
Thank you for your support,
Elaine Luria
