Hello John,
We are excited to share with you the second Personally Speaking blog in our 12-part series of staff stories. This week’s blog is from our project manager, Amy Lukes.
Prior to joining the Treatment Advocacy Center, Amy worked for 17 years as a licensed independent clinical social worker in community mental health settings. Over the years, she’s seen first-hand how Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) can change someone’s life.
As a member of the AOT Implementation Team at the Treatment Advocacy Center, Amy is dedicated to achieving access to AOT for every person who needs it. Because for Amy, her work is personal. As she writes in her blog, “I do this work because it is an honor when someone trusts you enough to let you help.”
We know that this work is personal for you, too. To support us in our fight to make AOT accessible to everyone who needs it, make a donation here.
Please donate to the Treatment Advocacy Center today.
Thank you.
