Oh heck, I have some bad news.

We were on track to reach our final FEC fundraising goal last night, but then, donations slowed down significantly. We weren’t even in the ballpark by the time the midnight deadline passed.

The timing couldn’t be worse. Recent public polls show our lead in this race has deteriorated, which means Donald Trump’s false attacks on our campaign are working — and the millions of dollars his campaign is spending to flip Minnesota red are taking a serious toll.

That’s why I’m personally messaging you right now with an urgent request as we try to make up for this temporary lapse in our fundraising.

We need to raise just $17,433 quickly and then, we’ll be back on track for the closing days of this election. So, I’m asking:

Will you rush an emergency donation of any amount to stop us from losing even more ground in the polls? Anything you can give will go a long way toward helping us catch up on our missed goal.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

The Trump campaign and GOP dark money groups are hammering Minnesota with millions of dollars to flip our state red and our lead has just shrunk in the polls. That’s why this final FEC goal mattered a great deal to our campaign — and why your donation matters so much now that we’ve missed it.

Counting on you.
