John,

The violent and extreme persecution of Christians has escalated across the globe at an unthinkable rate.

We’ve seen the imprisonment of pastors, the mass murder of worshiping Christians, and believers ordered to flee or face horrific punishment.

In what has been described as the “inmates running the asylum,” some of the world’s worst persecuting nations and human rights abusers have infiltrated the U.N. Human Rights Council.

That is why it is more critical than ever that we work to defend Christians facing unspeakable atrocities.

TODAY, we are submitting 8 formal reviews of persecution and human rights violations to the U.N. (Universal Periodic Reviews or UPRs).

In Mozambique, we highlight rising Islamic extremism and violent attacks on Christians, including on Good Friday, human trafficking, and trafficking of children’s organs. In Singapore, we detail how a blasphemy law can lead to imprisonment of Christians for something as simple as a sound or gesture.

We expose how the radical Islamic militant group Boko Haram (which has been responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent Christians) is expanding its evil into Niger. And we’re also shining a light on the plight of Christians in Somalia facing egregious radical Islamic persecution.

As we fight at the U.N. for Christians enduring atrocious persecution worldwide, we need you to take action with us.
