Judge Barrett poses a threat to gun safety laws across the country. We need to make sure that our U.S. Senators honor the will of the American people.

John–

As Judge Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation hearings continue, she's showing her true colors as an opponent to gun safety laws across the country. In an exchange with Senator Feinstein, Judge Barrett stood by her dissent in Kanter v. Barr, in which she adopted a dangerous Second Amendment analysis that focused on founding-era history and largely ignored questions of public safety. This is the same extreme legal framework the NRA has tried to use time and again.

With her on the Supreme Court, widely popular policies like background checks on all gun sales and red flag laws will be at risk. We need to make our voices heard. Tell your U.S. Senators: No SCOTUS confirmation before Inauguration Day.

Gun safety is on the line. Tell your U.S. Senators: No SCOTUS confirmation before Inauguration Day.

The things Judge Barrett has said this week have been extremely concerning. She was willing to clearly say that people convicted of serious non-violent felonies may have guns, but unwilling to answer whether voter intimidation is a crime, which includes armed extremists at polling locations. Additionally, when she was given the opportunity to distance herself from her extreme opinion on Kanter v. Barr, she doubled down on her dangerous views.

John, these hearings are making it abundantly clear that Judge Amy Coney Barrett does not belong on the Supreme Court.

Thank you for taking action.
