It’s day one of early voting in North Carolina, and it’s clear that the White House is taking our race very seriously. We’re the tipping-point state in this election, and they have also seen the latest polls in our race — showing us with a slim lead against Thom Tillis. That’s why Tillis keeps asking for Trump and his top campaign surrogates to keep returning to our state.

Any sudden shift could tip the scales in Tillis’ favor, which could explain why outside groups bankrolled by Mitch McConnell’s donor network are spending nearly $75 million to drown out our campaign, including on misleading TV and digital attack ads.
