It&rsquo;s September 11th, a day that cannot pass without some pause. Those terrorist attacks 18 years ago forever changed the United States and altered world history. It's strange to think that some of our youngest Texas Standard interns &ndash; people who will someday be colleagues &ndash; don't

have memories of seeing the second plane crash into the Twin Towers, or watching those titans fall in real time. Instead, their schools, shopping centers and places of worship are targets for a different form of terror. That violence &ndash; and the search for solutions &ndash; continues to dominate the discussion, as you&rsquo;ll see below. But we also hope some of the inspiring advances, practical advice and heartening personal stories we&rsquo;ve shared this week find a place in your thoughts as well. As always, thanks for listening.

They say that the phones we carry in our pockets today are like little supercomputers. Fortunately, they don&rsquo;t requires liquid cooling systems or 5.5 megawatts of power!
