Hello Friend,

Did you know nearly 60% of people who have experienced severe abuse in intimate relationships experienced it for the first time under the age of 25? This issue is a young person issue, yet too often we are left out of the conversation. Those who experience intimate partner or domestic violence often experience reproductive control, birth control sabotage, and/or sexual assault, all of which can lead to unintended pregnancy. We cannot achieve reproductive justice unless we all can live in safe and sustainable communities free from both state and interpersonal violence.

Join us from October 19th at our 19th-23rd on social media using the hashtags #IPVIsAnRJIssue #DVIsAnRJIssue and IPVIsNotJustACissue as we shed light on domestic and intimate partner violence as a reproductive justice issue and take the pledge to support survivors! 💜💜💜
