We’ve asked a lot of you these past few months, and you have delivered each and every time. So I want to take a moment to say thank you, from the bottom of my banjo.
When I first ran for public office, I did it because I believed that our community deserved better. We deserved leaders who were willing to fight for us, who were accountable to us, and who were us.
Back then, I never could have dreamed that I would have a grassroots team like this at my back, taking on powerful and deep-pocketed incumbents who have forgotten the folks they were elected to serve — above all, I never could have imagined we’d be winning.
Now, we’re SO close to flipping Colorado blue, taking back the Senate, and creating meaningful progress to make our community stronger, healthier, and more just. But we can’t count our chickens just yet.
