Hi John,

I’ll keep this short, as the final leaders’ debate of the 2020 election campaign is just about to kick off over on TVNZ.

The final 1News poll has just been released, and the numbers again reinforce that people are backing our plan to keep New Zealand moving.

According to tonight’s poll, Labour is on 46%, National is on 31%, the Greens are on 8% and ACT is also on 8%.

These results show that we’re holding steady in a strong position. But it also shows that every vote matters - on these results we’d return 59 Labour MPs to Parliament, and 61 seats are needed to govern.

To guarantee a strong Labour Government, we need to make sure absolutely everyone who can vote gets out and gives their two ticks to Labour.

With just 48 hours to go until polls close, there’s still time for us to reach those who haven’t yet cast their vote, and encourage them to get to the polling booth. We’ll be rolling out all the advertising we can afford to reach these potential voters, but we’d really appreciate your help with this.

If you’d like to help us get out the vote, will you chip in one last time to our campaign fund? <[link removed]>

CHIP IN NOW <[link removed]>This won’t be the last time you hear from me, but I want to take this chance to say a huge thank you for all your support during this campaign. It’s been amazing to have such a dedicated team of supporters right around the country, amplifying our message, volunteering at phone banks, and chipping in to our campaign fund.

We couldn’t have made it this far without you.

Thanks,

Hayden

P.S. Are you all set to watch the final leaders’ debate tonight? Make sure you tune in to TVNZ1 at 7pm to back Jacinda!
