Last year, I got into this race to be an advocate for equity and justice. Over the course of the campaign, that advocacy--and the need for unity--has become even more apparent. As we face crises in healthcare, the economy, and more, we need to work together to work for a better, more equitable country for us all. It is a time for unity, not division and hate.

My opponent may think he will score political points by trying to drive wedges between us, but that's not what will help move us forward. Let's stand together and prove to Bob Good that our district and country want leaders who will fight for equity, instead of trying to undo our progress.
