What does it mean if the House moves forward with impeachment and Republicans in the Senate vote against removing the president?

Here's what Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has to say: "if they want to fail it then I want to see every Republican go on the record and knowingly vote against impeachment, knowing [Trump's] corruption, so that they can have that stain on their careers the rest of their lives."

Bravo. It's past time for Speaker Pelosi to get on board and lead the Democratic House, to educate the electorate about Trump's widespread graft and abuse of office. It's what our campaign has been saying from Day 1—Democrats must take a stand, and those who won't need to get out of the way.
