I'm going to ask you to split a contribution between my good friend Sen. Cory Booker's campaign and mine, but first, let me explain why.

President Trump has repeatedly singled out Cory -- the only Democratic Black man serving in the Senate -- with racist attacks. It's all part of his usual playbook -- divide people to distract from all of his failures.

I've seen it firsthand -- Cory leads with integrity and passion.

Cory is a champion for equality and justice and has fought for families and essential workers during the pandemic. He's taken action to work to close the racial wealth gap, and he has led our efforts to make meaningful reforms to our justice system.

While Cory's Republican opponent bankrolls his campaign with hundreds of thousands of dollars of his own personal wealth as he tries to buy the Senate seat, Cory serves New Jerseyans -- not special interests.

That means Cory's campaign depends on grassroots support. And that's why I'm asking you today: If you can, will you split a contribution between Cory's campaign and mine?
