Hey team,

We all know the ballot this November will shape the future of our nation. But did you know Massachusetts also has the opportunity to change the way our elections work?

That’s right, Question 2 this year will ask if Massachusetts should adopt a ranked choice voting system. Ranked choice voting will help ensure that the candidate with the majority of support wins, encourage more diverse candidates to run for office and discourage negative campaigning. It’s an important tool to defend and strengthen our democracy.

Maura will be kicking off a phone bank with the Yes on 2 – Ranked Choice Voting campaign tomorrow, October 15th at 5:30 pm. Voters are starting to cast their ballots RIGHT NOW and we need to reach as many people as possible early on to let them know about the benefits of ranked choice voting. We know that when voters learn about ranked choice voting, they like what they hear.

VOLUNTEER

Meet you on the phones,
Team Healey

P.S. If you’re confused about how ranked choice voting works, watch and share Maura’s video with Senator Elizabeth Warren walking you through everything you need to know!
