RPNM HOLDS PRESS CONFERENCE TO HIGHLIGHT THE CRISIS OF LATE-TERM ABORTION AND THE TARGETING OF MINORITY WOMEN

On Tuesday, the Republican Party of New Mexico held a Press Conference on late-term abortion with the United Black Conservatives of New Mexico. Our message: Planned Parenthood needs to stop targeting Black women. Some have called the disproportionate number of Black women getting late-term abortions a “Black genocide.” Late-term abortion poses a unique threat to Black lives. Keisha Atkins, a young Black woman from Albuquerque, died in 2017 after a botched late-term abortion at Southwestern Women’s Options. There are now several pending lawsuits against SWO and UNM Hospital involving charges of wrongful death and medical malpractice. It's time to end the dangerous practice of late-term abortion in New Mexico. Watch the full press conference below.

#NEWMEXIT WILL TURN NEW MEXICO RED
Hispanics are walking away from the Democrat Party at record rates. The #NewMexit movement was founded by Melinda Rivera and is focused on winning New Mexico for President Trump and Republicans down the ballot. President Trump's America-First economic policies have created new opportunity for Hispanics in New Mexico. His tax cuts have allowed for families and businesses to keep more of their paychecks. He has promoted our oil & gas industry which created new jobs and prosperity across our state. He has committed to making our state a safer place to live while Democrat politicians have watched our crime rates skyrocket. He has secured our Southern border with his border wall and pro-America immigration policies. Promises made, promises kept. President Trump has done more for New Mexico in the past four years than any other President. We must vote Republican to continue this growth and progress for New Mexico.

GOVERNOR ADDS UNFAIR RESTRICTIONS IN REVISED PUBLIC HEALTH ORDER

The governor's revised Public Health Order, which will go into effect this Friday, adds ridiculous new restrictions that close restaurants at 10 PM if they serve alcohol, reduce hotel occupancy and limit gatherings from 10 to 5 people. She also reinstituted her 14-day quarantine order for travel to and from high-risk states. “It seems evident that Gov. Lujan Grisham still doesn’t have a plan to deal with our health and economic crises. Again, she’s desperately looking for answers. Her decisions are piecemeal and haphazard. These new restrictions are simply illogical," said RPNM Chairman Steve Pearce. In addition, her decision to shutdown fall sports has left our student athletes more frustrated than before. Most schools remain closed and businesses continue to try and survive. New Mexico needs a real leader right now. We must vote her out in 2022.
