Yahoo! News: California GOP refuses to comply with attorney general's order to remove "illegal" ballot drop boxes

Ever since we started hearing reports of the GOP setting up illegal ballot drop boxes around our district and others, we've been closely monitoring the situation.

And now I'm disturbed that California Republican party officials are refusing to comply with our Attorney General's order that they remove the fake ballot boxes. It's why I joined this morning with Reps. Harley Rouda and T.J. Cox and legal counsel Marc Elias to condemn this illegal ballot collection scheme.

With the state GOP unwilling to obey the law and protect the security of our elections, it's more important than ever that we get the word out to our supporters exactly how they can cast their ballots safely and securely.
