But today, with only 20 days until Election Day, I want to let you know that the Senate race in Iowa really is neck and neck. And it is up to this community to make sure that green champion Theresa Greenfield replaces anti-environment Joni Ernst. With only a 3% lifetime score from the League of Conservation Voters, Joni Ernst has one of the worst environmental records in the U.S. Senate.
Joni Ernst has taken more than $330,000 from the oil and gas industry. That’s why she voted for Trump’s tax plan that saved oil and gas companies $25 billion in taxes.
Iowans deserve a Senator who works for them, not for Big Oil.
A self-proclaimed “proud farm kid,” Theresa Greenfield knows what needs to be done to protect Iowans from Ernst and other Senate Republicans that repeatedly deny climate change as Iowa’s farmers suffer the consequences.
