I apologize for the late email, but I needed to reach you today: The National Republican Senatorial Committee just began a massive ad blitz in Kansas this morning to defeat Democrat Barbara Bollier.

First, let’s recognize what this means. The GOP is spending money in Kansas (yes, Kansas) because their hand-picked candidate is losing. The latest poll, released October 8, has Barbara up by four points. They also know that Democrats are all-but guaranteed the Senate majority if Barbara wins.

This new ad buy could wipe out Barbara’s lead, so we need to step up and make sure her team has the resources to respond to the attacks that are coming. I promised Barbara’s team that we could raise $15,000 TONIGHT—just as the GOP ads begin to hit the airwaves.
